Every morning we go over a cardiology case with our attending cardiologists adding their two (or three...) cents
Four days a week Chief residents present cases ranging from the common to the bizarre to help grow in clinical reasoning and board relevant knowledge
Teaching can be done in multiple settings, including in our beautiful resident lounge. There is always plenty of pastries and coffee for you to enjoy (including a gorgeous view of Downtown San Francisco).

We serve as the quaternary referral center for the entire Sutter Health Medical System, and also serve as a quaternary referral center for the state of California and beyond.

Dr. Shilpa Shah is using one of the resident teaching rooms in our brand-new outpatient clinic to go over a patient case. Didactic teaching sessions are an integral part of the outpatient primary care experience.

Our clinic is equipped with robust technologies to help facilitate discussion and teaching.
We have quickly and completely implemented telemedicine to help our vulnerable populations. Of course, should a patient need to be seen in person, we have also implemented strict screening parameters to help keep the patient, residents, and house-staff safe.
